Why have the Omega 3 capsules changed?Updated 2 years ago

Omega 3 has been reformulated following concerns over the quality of the softgels which have been repeatedly reported to leak/stick together. Furthermore, in response to customer feedback, the softgel size has been reduced for better comfort of use.

Summary of implemented changes:

• Altering softgel formulation (old: tapioca starch, glycerin, purified water; new: gellan gum, pectin, starch, glycerin): Improved formula to mitigate oil seep through.

• Decreasing the capsule size: ‘’Easier to swallow’’ softgels were requested by customers so a smaller capsule size has been implemented.

• Increasing daily recommended dose from 2 to 3 NutriGels®: To make up for smaller capsule size.

• Increasing the number of softgels in a bottle from 60 to 90: To match the 30 servings per bottle target.

• Decreasing the Omega 3 values provided with a daily serving from 2000mg to 1800mg of algal oil: Driven by altered capsule sizes.
